Description
This is a hiking trip that does not require great physical skills. The travel destination is the picturesque village of Buhal, and along the path, you can enjoy the natural and cultural beauties of the area. The hike begins in the Përmet city center and includes several other planned stops. The route winds along a path that approaches the Vjosa River with beautiful natural scenery of the valley. The second stop is the Church of Saint Regis, which was built in the XII century and rebuilt in the XVIII century in the period of Ali Pasha Tepelena. From the church, the path climbs upwards to the village of Buhal; as the road approaches the village, the landscape becomes even more expansive, offering scenic views of the river valley and the “Bredhi i Hotovës-Dangëlli” National Park. After arriving in the village, you can visit the Church of Saint Miter (Buhal), as well as the Lefter Cullufes Museum House, where you can taste different traditional dishes.
